Designing a Digital Experience for a Premium Wellness Destination - Fully Integrated with Mindbody
The Brief
Rebase Recovery is a high-end wellness and recovery space in London, combining cutting-edge treatments with a refined, members-club atmosphere.
The challenge was clear:
Create a digital presence that reflects the exclusivity and calm authority of the physical space
Avoid the “generic wellness template” look
Seamlessly integrate with their Mindbody backend
Preserve conversion performance while elevating brand perception
This wasn’t just a website project. It was a positioning exercise.
The Challenge
Most recovery studios rely heavily on embedded booking widgets from Mindbody - which often:
Break visual consistency
Feel transactional rather than premium
Undermine high-end brand perception
For a space like Rebase, that approach wouldn’t work.
The goal was to design a luxury hospitality-style digital experience - while still maintaining full booking functionality, class management, and CRM sync via Mindbody.
Our Approach
1. Brand-Led Digital Architecture
We treated the website less like a “fitness booking site” and more like:
A boutique hotel website
A private members’ club
A high-end medical spa
Every design decision focused on:
Restraint
Space
Typography
Texture
Visual calm
The UX was intentionally minimal. Fewer distractions. Strong hierarchy. Clear emotional pacing.
2. Frictionless Mindbody Integration
Instead of default embeds, we:
Strategically integrated Mindbody booking flows
Designed around its constraints
Controlled transition points between brand experience and booking system
Ensured mobile booking was seamless
The backend remained fully powered by Mindbody - including:
Class schedules
Membership management
Payment processing
CRM data
But the user experience felt native and premium.
